The University recently launched
Vic Info Ihonui on level 1 near the new Library entrance. This is the first trial of integrated service points that will be further developed on level 2 from March 2013.
It's the place to get answers to all sorts of questions about the Library, computing, student services, finding places, lost property, personal help, and more; staff at Vic Info Ihonui can help, or if you have any other questions, the staff can point you to the right people to talk to.
The Library is also changing and will have different locations for services, and new ways of performing some tasks within the Library. This is part of the Library’s plan to improve their service.
The Reference and Issue desk in the Kelburn Library has been combined into a single service point. Roving librarians are onsite to help you with your queries. You can issue many books and resources yourself, using the Self Issue Desks on level 1. A
Staffed Issue Counter is available if you need help.
The trial of Vic Info Ihonui has been completed; the official launch of Vic Info Ihonui on levels 1 and 2 of the Library is planned for March 2013.
The Library itself is still undergoing constant renovations until then for the latest developments please check our
Library news page.
