Benefits of being an alumni member

As an alumni member of the Library, you can:

Membership options

You can choose one of three options for alumni membership of the Library. There is an annual fee for membership.

Online resource and in-person access $250
Online resource access only $200
In-person access only $100

If you're interested in becoming an alumni member of the Library, you can contact Alumni Relations or come to any of our libraries in person.

If you have an Alumni Gold Card you can get a 50% discount on these fees. The Alumni Gold Card is a special offer from Alumni Relations that gives you a number of benefits and services. To find out more, please contact Alumni Relations.

Online resource access

Through this option, you can get access to a selection of our online resources, covering many different subject areas.

Online resource access is provided for private study and research and not for commercial use.

In-person access

Through this option, you can:

Print collection access does not currently include the Borrow Direct service.

Am I eligible for alumni access?

If you have worked or studied at Victoria, or received an honorary degree, you are a member of our alumni community and eligible for alumni access to the Library. This includes:

  • Anyone who graduated with a degree, diploma, or certificate.
  • Anyone who studied at Victoria but did not graduate, including international exchange students.
  • Anyone who has been awarded an honorary degree from Victoria.
  • Any current or former staff member at Victoria, whether academic or general staff, and regardless of where you studied.

Not eligible for alumni access? There are other options for access to the Library.

Can alumni print documents and use the Library computer labs?

We're sorry, access to the computers and printers is not currently available to alumni.

Can alumni use the Library photocopiers?

You are welcome to use the photocopiers. You can borrow a copy card from the Issue Desk at any library.
