Libraries
The Library as a whole is made up of five libraries serving all of the University's campuses. Any Victoria University student or staff member may use any of these libraries.
- The Central Library serves the Kelburn Campus and is the home of most of our Special Collections. The library is undergoing redevelopment, find out how this affects your access to the collections.
- The Architecture & Design Library serves the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Te Aro campus.
- The Commerce Library is one of two libraries serving the Pipitea campus, and has a collection of closed reserve and three day loan items for Faculty of Commerce courses taught at Pipitea.
- The Law Library serves Faculty of Law students at the Pipitea campus.
- The W.J. Scott Education Library serves the Faculty of Education at the Karori campus.
Special Collections
- The Audiovisual Collection, is on level 2 of the Central Library at the Closed Reserves desk. Viewing and listening devices are moving to level 2.
- The J.C. Beaglehole Room is the home of the Library's Special Materials collection, comprising rare and archival books and materials. The J.C. Beaglehole Room is located on level 4 of the Central Library.
- The Language Learning Centre supports students studying languages at Victoria with multimedia resources and study facilities. The Language Learning Centre is located on level 0 of the Von Zedlitz Building at the Kelburn campus.
- Victoria University Library Digital Collections is the home of the digital collections produced by Victoria University. These include theses, working papers and digitised heritage materials.
- Three Māori and Pasifika study spaces and collections support students at the Central, Pipitea and Karori campus libraries.
- The United Nations and Official Publications Collection is held at the Law library: the United Nations collection holds United Nations publications and information, and the Official Publications Collection holds publications by the New Zealand Government and some publications by other governments and official public bodies.

You can also use the Find button at the top of every page to access course reserves (recommended readings), search for books, journals, exam papers and special collections, including archives.
