West Wing, Wellington Railway Station, Bunny Street, Wellington 6011

The Commerce Library, located in the West Wing of the Wellington Railway Station, is one of two libraries serving the Pipitea Campus. The Library holds a small open reserve collection of three-day loan and two-hour loan books for Faculty of Commerce courses. Most other Commerce material is held at the Central Library.

The Commerce Library occupies parts of levels 1, 2, and 4 in the Railway West Wing. Today's hours are available on the library home page or you can see the full hours for the month.

Study Zones

To accommodate your study needs, the Commerce Library's study spaces have been divided into two zones. Green Zones are for group work and conversation. Blue Zones are for silent, individual study. Please respect your fellow library users and adhere to the zone rules.

Level 1 is Green Zoned. Level 2 and all of level 4 are Blue Zones. All zones will be regularly patrolled by Library Staff, and students talking in Blue Zones will be kindly asked to move to a Green Zone.

You may bring covered drinks and cold snacks into the Law Library. Additional bins have been placed in all areas to accommodate the extra rubbish. Hot food is not permitted; please be considerate of your fellow students and restrict hot food to the common room.

Facilities

The Commerce Library has the following facilities available for your use:

• A DocuPOS machine for adding credit to your account for printing and photocopying is located adjacent to room RWW204.
• Group study rooms are available on levels 1, 2, and 4. These rooms can be booked online through the Library website.
• The Issue Desk is located in room RWW226, along with the open reserve collection.
• An ITS help desk is located in room RWW204, near the stairwell on level 2. If this desk is unattended, a video helpscreen is located next to the room.
• Photocopiers are available on levels 1, 2, and 4.
• Research assistance can be obtained from the Commerce Subject Librarians in room RWW226/A and RWW226/B. You can also email to arrange an appointment (library-commerce@vuw.ac.nz) Please ask at the Service Desk for general inquiries and help with using the Library.
• A self-check-out machine is located on level 2.
• A scanner is available on level 2.
• Student computing facilities are available on levels 1, 2 and 4.
• The University wireless network may be accessed throughout the Commerce Library, although the architecture of the Railway West Wing may limit or block the signal in some areas.

Access After Hours

Your University ID card is required to access the Railway West Wing after 5.30pm Monday–Friday, and all day on Sunday. The Commerce Library is closed on Saturdays.
