A collection of census data from Statistic New Zealand's 2006 Census of Population and Dwellings. Data is presented in the form of excel tables and includes indicators such as ethnic group, language spoken, Maori descent indicator, religious affiliation, occupation, income level and martial status.
Data at the meshblock (detailed) level for selected variables from the 1996, 2001 and 2006 NZ Census of Population and Dwellings, rebased to 2006 census boundaries. There are also counts for area units, wards, territorial authorities and regional council areas.
This is unit record data produced by Statistics New Zealand which has been modified to protect the confidentiality of respondents while maintaining the integrity of the data. Only selected sets of data are available in this format. CURFs can only be accessed through a formal application to Statistics New Zealand.

Monthly data coverage is provided for consumer prices, high-tech market indicators, industrial production and merchandise trade, etc. Quarterly data is available for GDP, current account balances, and budget balances. All data sets are updated each weekday to capture the latest available observations.
